    Hi :) i am a new member here, and i would really appreciate if you could tell me some infomation. Can a laptop with 1gb RAM,Intel Core(TM) 2 Duo processor T5200 1.60 GHz,80HD,256MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7400 run CounterStrikeSource highest settings with no lag?
    Also is the 256MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1400 HyperMemory™ better than the 256MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7400. (both cards are not completly dedicated cards)

    Refering to your question, both are good low-mid range cards, so they should play Counterstrike at resonable resolution without lag. You won't get the best FPS with the Go 7400 or the highest resolution, but you should be able to play the game. The difference between the Mobility X1400 and Go 7400 is pretty much nothing. Boh should perform about the same. Hope this helps.

    More information on video cards can be found in the GPU guide.

    I have played CS: S on a Go7400 and it has no problems with the game. I was able to play at medium-high settings at a 1440x900 resolution with around 30-45 FPS.

    how many fps do you think i could get with 1200x800 resolution with medium/high settings on the 7400 go and the specs of the laptop in my sig?
