Hi all I have a desktop with Athlon 1800XP, 1GB Ram, Radeon 9600 PRO 256 MB 8X AGP.

    I get a minimum of 12 FPS - 58 FPS while playing.
    My settings are like
    No Shadows
    800x600
    2X AA + Temporal Antialiasing
    2X AF
    High Quality textures
    NO V Sync
    And everything else enabled

when enemies are on the screen I get about 12 and 15 FPS. Empty Corridors I get 60 FPS.

Now my new Laptop which is a DELL vostro 1000 will have
    Athlon X2 dual core 1.7GZ
    Xpress 1150 256MB hypermemory
2GB DDR 2 RAM in dual channel
    Vista Premium

I want to know if my new laptop can match the exact performance of my old desktop PC.

And also can it run Crysis on lowest setting?

It should be able to run Crysis at low & 640x480. Question is why would you want to? The 9600 Pro was a great video card for it's time. I had one in my 8600 and it could still run some current games very well. The 1150? Does it even have shader support 2.0? Just a thought. But I don't think it will run it as well as the 9600.

Kool well I will use the 9600 PRO to run Crysis.

You see mate I live in the 3rd world and a single card like a Geforce 8800 GTS is like $3000 where I live.
Infact a box of KFC chicken is like $40 compared to America where it is $3.

Just look at that you know, so sometimes I guess I got to make my 9600 PRO do the Job until I can afford better.

Such is life in the Caribbean mate.

    God Bless USA I guess!!

Yeah I can get a good deal on Ebay for something used.
    I am looking into a Used Mother board+Athlon 4200+ X2 processor and a Used Geforce 7800 GTX.

If I can get this package for $2000 total it will be a super deal. hmm thats about $300 US dollars.

Damn man wish i was living the great USA would of been white chicks galore to.

Just imagine I went to buy a medium size Pizza this evening and it costed $100 a 8 slice.

Damn it man why I could of been born in America?
    god alone knows that answer.

So this is how ATI's lineup was:

    Radeon 9xxx series: 9200/9600/9700/9800

Ordered by lowest to highest performance.

Then the made the Xxxx series:
    X300/X600/X800

    X600 is really a PCI-Express version of Radeon 9600 Pro, and I think X300 is just a PCI-Express version of the 9200.

X1150 is a integrated card based off the X300 architecture... but of course its a much scaled down one. It's about equal to a X300SE, which is a X300 with 64-bit memory. And just like the X300, it has full support for SM2.0.

I'd expect 8-15 fps with lowest settings. Try it out though :).

IT will probably run WoW easily

    EVDO would probably be good.

$3000 what? US dollars or Carrbean $ idk...

Well... all you need is international shipping and you can get anything you want at your door...

    $400 USD for a 8800gts 512mb version ain't bad. in canada it costs $350

and i don't believe crysis will run on 9600 because the minimum requirements is a Radeon 9800 Pro

EDIT: and there are many "american chicks" who are many times smarter than you and many who are not. don't judge.

ON TOPIC: To my knowledge, the minimum video card to run crysis is a geforce go 7600/8400m gs or MR x1600. The 9600 is much weaker than that.
