Alright, I didnt but my computer for gaming, but I wanted to try these games out anyways..
These games-
Battlefield 1942 and Vietnam.
Counter Strike Source
Maby an RTS or two from around 2004-05.
These are my computers specs-
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T5270 (1.4GHz/800Mhz FSB/2MB cache)
Genuine Windows® XP Home Edition, SP2
14.1 inch Wide Screen XGA LCD Display with TrueLife™
2GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz, 2 DIMM
120GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
8X CD/DVD Burner w/ double-layer DVD+R write capability
128MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ 8400M GS
Integrated High Definition Audio
Good enough? If so what settings should I run them at?

Not sure about battlefield, but counterstrike source should run low/med settings at native res. the rts' should also be low/medium.
oh, and read the stickies next time. -
BF42 and Vietnam will run maxed no problem at 1280x800
CS Source will run at high-ish settings 1280x800 also. I ran it on my old Go7400 and got fps ranging from 50-90 at 1024x768 high options, no AA and simple reflections. 8400GS is an improvement on that.
Not knowing which RTS, unless they're unusually intensive, should also run at high settings. -
i have the same exact config, and i can run counterstrike and half life 2 at relatively high settings, and half life 2 episode 2 at med.
sim city 4 runs amazingly fast.
Battlefield runs fine too...make sure you have the latest video drivers.
Can my computer run these games?
