Hey everyone, I'm computer illiterate to say the least, so I'm not sure if my laptop is able to take ffxi. Maybe you all might be able to help me out?
Here's what I know I have:
Windows 7
Pentium Dual-Core
2 GB memory
53.0GB hard drive
DirectX 11
Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family
Like I said I'm not good with this stuff (go figure I'd get into an online game). I know my graphics card is probably not good enough but can someone confirm that it isn't? Also, is it possible to get a better graphics card for laptop? Thank you all![]()

I dunno its an older game but still MMO's are demanding just due to the nature of large enviroments and lots of people around.
integrated cards just are not meant for gaming, im going to have to say you will not have an enjoyable playing experience and would find yourself a liability to your team if you start lagging in some big fight.
I wonder how active FFXI is these days, I kinda miss the game. I am looking forward to FFXIV its already in beta so may not be too long off. -
meh, a lot of people have quit ffxi, in terms of those who have canceled their subscriptions already for ffxiv, and those who are looking to get into ffxi again are just going to wait for ffxiv also. But you can find a couple good servers SO I HEARD on the ffxiv forums.
