Hi Guys,
I have recently started to get back into gaming again and I am seriously considering buying games like the new Bioshock infinite. However I am concerned that my laptop wont manage to play modern games like this.
I am using an ASUS N53S with a 2.3 GHz i5 2410M processor and a nVidia GT540M (2gb version). So far I have only tried games from like 5 years ago like the original Bioshock, World in Conflict and COD4, all of which it can handle at max settings perfectly.
How would this system do with the new bioshock. I realise that the processor is quite weak which will hold it back, but if even if I could manage to get the machine to run at low/medium graphics with reasonable resolution that would be fine.
Im just paranoid to spend big sums of money on games to discover that they dont work.
Sorry to be a pain, people probably ask this kind of stuff all the time.
Cheers

At 720p it should do fine on any game at medium to high settings. You could try to overclock your gpu a bit to get some more out of it.

Heck, if I can still play on mah ol' 240, you should be fine with yours too.

I have around an HD 7670m which is around the same performance as your Gt540m and still kickin nice at 720p.
If you are fine by medium settings though.
Can my laptop deal with modern games?
