    Hi,

    I got a new portable one Mx (w3v) laptop and I can play vampires the masquerade despite having all the necessary specs for the game. It never starts, it installed but when I hit play it just kind of freezes before even starting it. Does anyone know what I could do?

    Oh! I had that problem with my desktop... for me, it was a DirectX problem. I had to override the settings for the drawrate. Try the following:

    Start > Run > dxdiag > More Help > Override
    Enter the value '60' (no quotes), in the override box. See if that works.

    Thank you for your help. Still does not seem to work... I tested the video card though and it seems to work just fine. ANy more ideas?
