Hi All,
I currently have an m18x R2 which at the moment may be subject to the EDID corruption from a mixture of newer nvidia + windows 10 drivers http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...illing-alienware-and-clevo-lcd-panels.779449/. At the moment I have an older nvidia driver which is working fine, but of course it will lack SLI profiles such as GTA V and AC Unity.. given my LCD hasn't bricked I intend to keep the system as close to the way it is at the moment. I've heard to get the new profiles you first need to install the new nvidia drivers then use Nvidia Inspecter to export the profiles.
Could somebody do that please if you have the time?
the steps to follow are:
Open nvidia inspector and click the tools icon next to the driver version.
Click export user defined profiles (green up arrow icon) then Export All Driver Profiles (Nvidia Text Format)

So when I import driver profiles, does it reset my settings for games? For example: I may have a game with SLI compatibility bits forced, or a game that I forced to single GPU. Will those revert to normal?

That's a good question. It is my understanding that it will overwrite anything so what you can do is export your custom games as NIB format (go to each game) and then import the new profiles, then import your custom profiles. Documentation for Inspector is severely lacking. I would export all of your profiles you have now in nvidia text format just in case you end up having to restore them.

Mmm I'll try Battlefront without the SLI profile first and see if it automagically works with SLI (like BF4 did). If it gives some issues, I'll import the SLI profiles.Ethrem likes this.

Safest bet for sure. I don't ever customize my profiles so its not an issue for me. I just don't want to run anything newer than 347.88 on my system...

I'm lucky; 350.12. 353.06 and 355.60 are all perfect. Overclocks hold and no crashes. But I don't like pushing things.
Fortunately for me, 780Ms don't get performance boosts from drivers anymore. -
Well for at least the first week I'm going to stick with 347.88 to make absolutely sure that the machine works properly with a driver I know works properly. After that, I'll probably upgrade.TomJGX, Spartan@HIDevolution, D2 Ultima and 1 other person like this.
Can somebody upload the new Nvidia SLI profiles?
