    I answered your question in the other post in which you told me about your FPS in HL2. As far as what a good FPS is: some people dont like it when they get FPS under 50, but i dont care as long as i get to play my game. I would say that a good FPS for HL2 is probably in the 40s range. So i would say that the FPS you got in HL2 are certainly playable, but are not the best!

    For reference i will tell you that on my desktop i get 40-50 FPS in HL2 and 60 FPS in call of duty.
