*** Solved! I found a recent .inf file mod and inserted into the latest (appropriate) driver download folder, worked like a charm. Shame on you nvidia for making it a pain in the @$$ to use your hardware. **

Received my new MSI GT70 laptop equipped with with GTX 670MX and Win 8. I removed HD and installed an SSD and Win 7 64-bit. All good until I tried to install nvidia drivers which stop with "no supported hardware." Same thing with latest drivers from nvidia site, and specific drivers from MSI download site.

I found the fix involves modding the .inf file with my device info. Below is the device info and the section where I *think* the line needs to go. Can someone help?

    Device instance path:

    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_11A1&SUBSYS_10D91462&REV_A1\4&31A1AF22&0&0008

from the nvam file found in driver install package:

    %NVIDIA_DEV.105A.2129.1043% = Section102, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_105A&SUBSYS_21291043
    %NVIDIA_DEV.1140.10DD.1043% = Section132, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1140&SUBSYS_10DD1043
    %NVIDIA_DEV.1140.10ED.1043% = Section132, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1140&SUBSYS_10ED1043
    %NVIDIA_DEV.1140.1507.1043% = Section176, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1140&SUBSYS_15071043
    %NVIDIA_DEV.1140.2132.1043% = Section132, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1140&SUBSYS_21321043
    %NVIDIA_DEV.1140.2136.1043% = Section141, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1140&SUBSYS_21361043
    %NVIDIA_DEV.1213.2119.1043% = Section182, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1213&SUBSYS_21191043

Maybe try looking at the nvcv.inf and see how I modded ones for my GTX 680M in the link in my sig.
