$300 is not enough for a mainstream gaming laptop. Try the generic brands such as Toshiba and HP and their models branded as "High Performance" such as Satellite and Pavillon. Those models are cheap and can play most games at low-medium settings. Comes with long term problems such as high fan noise, dust accumulation and possible overheating. Clean it from the inside every 6 month and apply a repaste and all should be fine.
Can someone suggest a laptop?
