The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Can th 7950GTX really be upgraded to an 8800??

    I got information from Eurocom (a Clevo reseller) that a new card, the 8700GTX, which will be like the 8800 for notebooks, will be upgradeable for a m570ru, which uses either a 7950GTX or 8700m at the moment. You can then deduce that the 8700GTX will be upgradeable from the 7950GTX or 8700m GT! Check out the post.

    so my Sager 9260 can be upgraded in the future? By the way i have a 2.13 core 2 duo processor...is that enough to support sli????
