I currently got a copy of Carbon, and i really want to play it, but my notebook is GMA 950, is it possible to play it? because i tried it, and it gives the error saying it encountered a problem. And i really want to play some recent games that came out such as Supreme Commander, and i was wondering if it was possible.

    Thanks

Carbon, and many games made in the last year or two, are either going to crash or not run well. This is not a gaming card, and your experiences are going to reflect that.

Nothing under old x700 isn't good enough just to run Carbon,I suppose.

    I second that.

Odd though. My Geforce Go 6600 can run NFS:Carbon on mostly medium settings at 1280x960 with silk smooth framerates. XD No AA though.

The 6600 is a relatively powerful card which was eventually retired for the 7600.

Carbon runs on my T42p with a 128MB ATi FireGL T2 card. Wonder if a X3100 can run GTA:SA

I've seen a GMA900 run GTA:SA albeit at low settings. A X3100 shouldn't have a problem. GTA:SA is both old and unadvanced even at launch and still uses the same engine as GTA III. It's effects are DX8 level, but is limited because they barely upscaled things from the PS2 version and the PS2 has no shaders.
