    I don't think those will be able to do anything more advanced than Counter-Strike and Half-Life 2, maybe Unreal Tournament 2004.

    you could run some games, not well though, I would look for something with at least an 8400m or equivalent

    I looked through the laptops there, and while this one is $400 more it will run all games out today and at mostly high settings. Asus is also a very reputable company, and that is easily the best laptop below $900 for gaming.
