I plan to play games like HL2:EP1, halo2, rainbow six 6,oblivion,counter strike source,
please tell me your experience with this notebook
-
It will handle HL2 and CS:S at high settings, Oblivion and R6 at mid settings. The Toshiba Satellite line of computers are very nice consumer level notebooks.
-
The ATI Mobility Radeon HD2600 is comparable to the 8600 GT so you will be able to play all those games.
-
The CPU will be the biggest bottleneck in that system.

we don't have any benchmarks available for the hd 2600 specifically as of yet.
however, it SHOULD be more comparable to the 8600m gs than the the gt.
hd 2600 = 8600m gs, hd 2600 xt = 8600m gt
I feel like Lithus is right on the money with his prediction of settings. -
What is bottleneck? Does that mean the CPU is slow. I also plan to use it for MAYA 8 Photoshop and all those power needing programs

The CPU will definitely be a bottleneck in that system. However, bottlenecking isn't as big a deal as many people think. It is 100% impossible to create a system where some component doesn't serve as the bottleneck; somewhere down the line, something will slow down your system. In the case of your system, the CPU will slow you down. The CPU in that system is a Core 2 at 1.55 (?) Ghz, and in gaming you will see noticably lower frame rates in RTS games, and somewhat lower frame rates in FPS, compared to a faster T7xxx Core 2. I wouldn't worry too much about it, as I believe the T7300 even bottlenecks this class of card slightly; however, it is something to be aware of.

SO does the CPU suck?
-
We already answered whether or not the computer can handle gaming (yes). There will always be a better computer out in the market, even if you spend $4000. If you like that computer, then buy it. -
woo hoo im glad I gots the T7500!

With everything maxed out, this Falcon-NW configuration will kill anyones laptop, not to mention the $10,000+ pricetag.

If you could afford the extra $200, you can get an ASUS G1S-A1 which is quite a bit better than the toshiba. The build quaility and notebook support is better as well. Or if you have time to wait, you could get the F8 line of notebooks by ASUS for the same price right now on preorder. The F8 line is only 14" but its close to the same weight and more powerful CPU. The GPU's are hard to compare as they will need real world testing to make more accurate comparisons.
Anyways if you want you can check out www.milestonePC.com they have good rates and you can price check with them. I saved 150$ off their posted price through price check with them.
Anyways good luck.
Can this notebook handle newer games?
