Hello everyone,
I'm planning to buy one of these notebooks for internet, and gaming:
Asus X552MD-SX070D
or
ASUS X553MA-XX490D
I would like to know, can i run games like Battlefield 3 on low-mid settings with 30fps+,or any games from 2003-2012.
Any suggestion is welcome!

Im deeply sorry, for three same threads.
I lost internet connection, and it seems like i post 3 threads.
I would like to ask admin for help to delete two of my same threads. -
If you want a machine for gaming, you probably need one with a discrete GPU. One of those ASUS models doesn't have one, so I would advise against that. The other has an 820M, which is quite weak and possibly won't get you 30fps for newer games.
If you want some advice, take a look at Notebookcheck's reviews. They can tell you exactly what framerates you can expect at different settings for particular GPUs.
Here are some other options at different prices:
$800 - MSI GP60 Leopard-836 - Low-end machine that can get low-med settings at 30fps+
$1300 - Sager NP8651 - High-end machine capable of high settings at 50fps+
Sorry I couldn't find anything in the lower-priced department, but I'm sure there's some out there if you keep looking. Best of luck!Last edited: May 4, 2015T-Rex1993 likes this. -

If you want help finding a notebook for your needs, I highly recommend making a post in the What Notebook Should I Buy forum http://forum.notebookreview.com/forums/what-notebook-should-i-buy.16/T-Rex1993 likes this. -
Thank you for great info, you helped me a lot
Thank you too for not banning me,and also thanks for help

What is your price range anyway? I personally think the $1300 model is the best bang-for-your-buck device you can get today. Highly recommend it if you have the coin for it.

Unfortunately,i can only buy one of those two:
Asus X552MD-SX070D
or
ASUS X553MA-XX490D
I can buy much others, but they are very low end.
I have budget only about $350.
Yesterday,i called local PC shop, and asked can i play games from older then cca.2012-2013. on lowest settings and he told me no way,but i wanted to make sure so i asked on this forum.
Could you tell me was that guy right?
PS
This link you gave me:

With what CPU/RAM did guy who made benchmark did those results?

In my current Desktop,i have XFX Radeon 5770 HD,and i would like to know, how much is it better then nVidia Geforce 820m?
Because i have good processor, and i can play many new games on 1280x1025 resolution and mid settings. -
Its not even on the list here http://www.futuremark.com/hardware/gpu/ATI Radeon HD 5770/review
The 840M is on there rated a good bit under the 5770.

820M is an ancient Fermi rebrand... It is ranked 237 in that list. I would never buy one.T-Rex1993 likes this. -
If you click on the framerates, it'll show the specs of the machines used to run the tests.T-Rex1993 likes this.

One more thing if i may ask.
I would like to know,is it possible to change keyboard on this notebook:
HP Pavilion 15-P153NM
I ask because im left handed, and those directional arrows are really small.
PS
If you could please tell me is that notebook i mentioned good for low settings gaming?
I promise i won't bother you again
Cheers -
Personally, I would go to a computer repair store and ask them to swap out the keyboard. The professionals should be able to do it easily.
If my research serves me well, that HP laptop has a GTX 830m. If you look at the analysis for that graphics card (scroll to the middle of the page), you can see it certainly is capable of low settings on at least 30fps. Some games even work on medium just fine. For some reason, Watch Dogs doesn't work at all, but that's a minor inconvenience.
Oh, and one thing. If you find that this laptop isn't getting you the gaming performance you're looking for, the issue is probably that you're on Power Saver mode and the GPU is turned off. I recommend playing games on the "High Performance" battery setting.T-Rex1993 likes this.
Can this notebook run these games?
