    Can you force lower resolution on pc games?

    what do you mean by this? as in force a resolution lower than any avaliable in the menu?

    i think for GTA IV, i followed this guy here and ran it at 512x320

    go to the game files and look for a settings.ini file or some file having to do with options you set in the game. Just look around in files. Find the resolution in the settings file, change to what you want and save the file. If it doesn't work go back to the file, and check it as read-only in the properties so it will force the resolution you input into the file.
