Can't Instal TF2 from Steam.

i got bored yesterday and decided to reinstall team fortress 2 to check out it's new content. i open steam > goto my library > click TF2 install > click ok. then it doesn't do anything and tells me that the server doesn't have any team fortress 2 content for me to download at the time. try again later. does anyone know how to resolve this problem? i haven't been on steam in a very long time.

i already tried reinstalling steam to see if that was the problem. no go.

 

Could be that the servers were all packed. Try downloading at an "unusual" time, like 2AM.

It's happened to me sometimes.

 

Click on "Steam" - "Settings" - "Downloads + Cloud" - choose another download region.

 

Try deleting your "ClientRegistry.blob" in the main Steam folder.

 

thanks a bunch. i tried this and it worked. just got done downloading TF2 and about to try it out in a bit. there's so much new content, it's like a new game lol. i just got my g500 mouse too, so i'm sure it's gonna be a little adjustment period.

any of u guys still playin?

 

I know, TF2 has been getting a tremendous amount of love and support from Valve. But I'm still pretty bad at TF2, I only play the engineer class, that's the only class I'm good at.

 

oh man, engies are my fav class. i'm a battle/rushing engineer.
