Did a fresh install of Vista 64-bit on my M1530 with 8600M GT graphics card.

I haven't connected it to the internet yet, so no updates have been dl-ed, just the drivers I've installed.

I'm trying to install the 175.19 driver, but this came up:
"The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit."

    So what's the deal?

Ok so now I think Windows Update has installed a driver for my system, and I tried again, but still same message.

If you really want 175.19, follow the instructions here in this topic. It's imo, the best driver for the 8600.
