I installed FSX on my computer about 8 months ago, but then uninstalled it due to HDD space limitations. I'm now trying to reinstall it, but for some reason it won't go. It prompts me to run dvdcheck.exe, my blu ray drive speeds up, and nothing happens. I can access all the files from My Computer, but I can't actually run them. I tried to install the disk on a different computer and it ran just fine, so it's not the DVD. On my primary computer, when I right click on the FSX icon from My Computer and click "install Flight Simulator X", it responds with "E:/ (my blu ray drive) is not a valid Win32 application."

Does anyone know what could be causing this error?
