Howdi, I have the same problem with AC Brotherhood and Revelations, namely: I can't acces their update sites.
With Brotherhood this was no problem, for I could simply click on: 'play offline'.
But with Revelations, the launcher just shuts down because it can't get the updates from http://static3.cdn.ubi.com/ac_revelations/ac_revelations_1.02_eu.exe.
I tried going to this site with firefox and internet explorer, both can't open the site and the browsers can't tell me why. (unknown error)
I tried opening it trough facebook, which said it was an unknown error.
So, I removed norton internet security (didnt just turn it off, but completely removed it), but surprisingly...that didnt work either >.> Turning off my windows firewall gave the same result.
So in the name off everything thats holdy, what could possibily have caused this?
FYI: i'm running windows vista 32 bit, with no service pack nor the availability to download any updates because I have an OEM licence from Acer, and nor Acer nor Microsoft could help me with the fact that my licence key didn't work anymore after upgrading a simple hard drive >.<
edit: I.E. says: 'sitesname' is not set up to establish a connection on port "WWW service (HTTP)" with this computer"
- my friends can acces the site perfectly though....

Allright so I found that the launcher error can be fixed by deleting the launcher from your pc (and manually removing every file that might remain, for the entire info check here: Error: Failed to Load Configuration) , and reinstalling it from http://static3.cdn.ubi.com/orbit/launcher_installer/UbisoftGameLauncherInstaller.exe.
Now the only problem is that I cant open that 2nd link. So, in case no one can fix my pc issue with the acces, is it possible someone in this forum can download that file and make it downloadable from a different site?
Edit: sigh, so a friend of mine uploaded the new launcher to me and after I installed it, it still didnt work because it couldn't get any updates >.>
So, any ideas?
