My sager np8651 with the 970m is on its way.

I am try to decide between Asseto Corsa and Project Cars. The cost is the same $50 (less there is a steam sale).

    Project Cars
    Pros:
    Weather
    New cars every month
Can get the pre order bonus

    Cons:
Don't know how popular it will be
Heard it is more arcade like

    Asseto Corsa
    Pros:
    Proven
    Apparently good multi player

    Cons:
    Dlc
    No changing weather

I will be using a ps4 controller I already have. I may get an Xbox one controller depending.

I love Forza 1-4 (have not played any of the others.)

    Dirt 1 was very good

The latest need for speed I thought was a real dud (I prefer more traditional racing and simulator like)

Any thoughts on which to get first?

    GTA V :D

But if serious (soft of), Assetto Corsa looks like fun. Someone made a Reliant Robin for it!

    You don't use a wheel + pedals controller ????
It really changes the feel of the game, especially if you have a force-feedback wheel.

i would choose project cars.I played it couple of months ago and it was already well optimized even at that time.It had around 70cars and lot of tracks.I can imagine that it has more now.It also looks a bit better

I'm guessing Project Cars would offer a similar experience to Forza Motorsport. To me there was no substitute so i went and got myself a Xbox One for FM5, Horizon 2 and hopefully FM6. :D (E3 please show gameplay!)

I have a ps4 and I don't really like taking over the TV whenever I play (hence no Xbox one)
    Assetto Corsa has great physics

While project cars has free dlc and better graphics.

    Bah. Too hard to decide.

Grid 2 just seemed to arcade like when I tried it on the console.

PS. Htwingnut your review pushed me over the edge to get this computer.
