    Can't install ATI catalyst and display drivers

    everytime i install these they don't really get installed. I have to use the drivers that windows update give you which i really don't like

    You need to mod the driver in order for it to install.
    Use this : http://www.hardwareheaven.com/modtool.php , follow the instructions and your good to go.
    Apparently it doesn't work with 10.1 , use 9.12 or just wait for an update for MM.

    It does work with 10.1, I just modded 10.1 and installed it yesterday, and everything is fine so far. I think that this idea stems from the fact that the ATI log says that it never installed the display driver.

    thanks guys really don't use my laptop that much but when my friends came over TF2 was lagging unplayably even on lowest settings possible. I realized that i didn't have the display driver installed. Wait do i use this modder on catalyst too?

    Umm, yes...

    Just follow the instructions on the Mobility Modder page, and you should be fine.

    i modded and installed 10.1 but now whenever i try to start CCC, i get this message , something like catalyst control centre has stopped working.. :(

    Isn't there a 10.1 hotfix driver which is better? U should have no problems really speaking even with the normal 10.1 driver.
