My new laptop with a 7970m just arrived and I can't find CCC anywhere on my computer despite have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest drivers twice. Until I do this, I'm stuck using my integrated graphics. Any help would be appreciated as I've already had 2 hours of trying to get the Wi-Fi up and working and only just managed....

EDIT: Just ran a dxdiag and my GPU isn't even listed. Now I'm trying to upgrade to the beta 12.11 drivers and the installer is not moving. I'm so frustrated right now.

EDIT: Tried using AMD's program to detect and install the appropriate driver and it says my system is incompatible. Just updated my intel graphics driver to the latest version in case that was causing issues and no dice.

I've completely uninstalled the old AMD drivers from the laptop, even going into hidden folders and manually deleting them.

EDIT: Oh FFS - I tried reinstalling it and a reinstall is instant. Something is clearly going wrong as there's no way it's that fast and also it says there are errors but clicking to view them shows me a blank page.

EDIT: Tried loading up FC3, the menu screen was going at 5FPS at native res. This clearly isn't using my 7970m. What the hell?

don't use AMD's utility which detects your GPU and install drivers for you. go to AMD's website and download the mobility drivers directly from there and install.
