Hey PB they tell me to install the regular cat drivers not the mobility, is there anyway to make the cat mobility work and what do you think about the omega drivers 6.3 ?

A Ferrari for $1,600CAD? I wouldn't have passed that up either, great deal. Nice job, and congrats. :)

Let us know how you make out with the drivers, pb pointed you in the right direction!

the desktop drivers work very well with the modding tool. i havent had any luck while using omega drivers, AND ATI tray tools still freezes my computer. i have had the best luck using the standard ATI drivers, with the modding tool.

Hey Chaz don't mean to go off topic here but just wanted your thoughts on a thing that i just did a week ago, I traded in my x1900xt's to the store with my mobo for 4 7900gt's and a gigabyte quad sli mobo for only $170 CAD extra difference and ive oc'ed the cards to 7900gtx speeds all 4 of them. But whats your point of view on nvidia desktop vid cards ive only owned ati cards in the past, but 3d mark 05 and 06 scores are impressive but on cs: source I get good fps but i some times hang for some reason shud i upgrade my ram to 4 gig? But all other games run fine such as cod2, fear, bf2, oblivion and god father with its stupid 30 fps limit. So i was wondering should i dish out more cash for the ram or is there some thing thats bottlenecking my pc for cs:source? i really dont want to spend money as im on a tight budget now i have to pay rent and other expenses :( Any advice would be apreciated. ;)

I can tell you 4GB is a waste right now. Unless you're running a 64bit processor and a 64bit operating system, you can't address that much memory.

yes right now 4gb is overboard.

and i can tell you this..my PC (check sig for specs), also freezes in CS:S..it just freezes..for no reason...sometimes it happens within a few hours, other times it doesnt happen...dont know the cause of it either (GPU isnt overheating or anything like that either)
