    Can't install latest Intel drivers on Inspiron 6000

    I downloaded Intel's newest drivers for the GMA900 graphics in my Inspiron 6000 and when I try to install them I get an error message saying that the driver cannot be installed on this system. What's up with that?

    same thing happened with my inspiron 6400; just uninstall the old intel(r) graphics media accelerator driver from add/remove programs and restart before you install the new ones

    yes, if you dont uninstall the old drivers before you install the new ones, you will encounter many problems..

    if you are still unable to install the drivers after you uninstall the drivers...post back..
