Ok so ive been trying to install this game for a while with the same error...
-I install the first CD which is "reign of chaos" perfectly fine, in to: C:\Program Files (x86)
-Second CD "Frozen Throne" starts installing in C:\Program Files (x86) it stops here http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/hh302/Bluestick1/Untitled.jpg
btw these are legit copies with correct cd keys and all that stuff, ive use it on my bro's pc perfectly fine, he has a amd x2 32 bit my pc is 64 bit could that be an issue? cd seem to be ok but in any kinda bad condition.

Not a 64bit issue I do not think, but tell you what you do.

Go to your blizzard account page and register your games for digital download and then download the game and use that version.
I know for a fact the downloaded version works in x64 as its installed in both my laptop & desktop. -
ok i go it now here is my question i type in my Frozen Throne CD key and its downloading, do i need to also download reign of chaos first?
i have reign of chaos installed all ready do i just install FT after it downloads to my desktop?

wow everytime i try to download it from the website it freezez on me everytime!!
gets to about 65% and everything frezzes, anyways thx for the help!

Hmm if your using a download manager dont, also if you have more than one browser try a different one.
Turn off firewall, you know the usual stuff
Sucks that your having so many problems, the good news its that it wont be too much longer and we can all look forward to play Starcraft 2 !
I like WC3, but I prefered how WC2 and Starcraft played, or I wish there was a no hero unit mode in WC3.
I did the normal game for like a week before I was playing custom games exclusively.
