    Hi all ,
i have just bought a gts 250m mxm type A card off ebay yesterday to upgrade my Acer aspire 5935g which had ati4570 and since then i am trying to install drivers on it , none of them has worked so far.
The first thing i got was black screen after windows 7 animation and it will go forever until i force shutdown a couple of time or keep switching between integrated and dedicated for 2,3 time then it gets boot to windows , but cant install any of drivers , even tried modded from laptopvideo2go but windows will say that the driver has found however some reason it failled .
tried latest and even from OEM in the 8940g's driver list but that doesnt work either ,
if the package is executable it will say that the driver cannot find campatible hardware or if forceinstall/manual install will say the above one .

so please help me as i am to make conclusion either the card is not compatible or its simply brocken

I am also thinking if it was made for other brands since the colour if the card is red

do anyone know more or less about the vbios or that kind of stuff? is that could be that issue ?
i am completely newbie in the field of modding bioses or patching/modifying whatever you call it .
I am also in hurry to find out if the card has some issues then will contact the Seller and try to sort it out if he agrees, btw his ebay policies are also strict, have your own look at it here

I have the same problem: I have a acer z5610 all in one video card GeForce G210M. l I replaced it with a geforce gts 250m.
I have the latest bios, the problem is that at the time of opening of windows, the card is recognized as a generic vga!

how do I make it recognizable as a gts 250m?
