    Cannot install new drivers code 43

    Hi, I have an m15x with an 8800m GTX and whenever I try to update my drivers, Device Manager alawys gives me a code 43 Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems.

    I dont know what is up with that. I have tried various official driver versions, using normal windows, using safe mode , using driver sweeper but nothing seems to be working. Only the 179.13 drivers work and they are quite outdated.
    Any idea what could be causing this ?

    EDIT : Vista Home Premium 32 bit just in case

    Anyone have an idea of what it could be ? It works perfectly fine with the 179.13 drivers i.e. nothing to indicate that the card is busted. It just doesnt seem to load the newer drivers at startup

    try the 186.81 it's the latest WHQL driver known to work

    all the 185.XX as well as the 195.XX numbers don't work with m15x/8800Mgtx for some reason...
