I've come across an interesting problem when playing in non-native resolution on my C-50 based tablet. I'm trying to set the resolution to 800x600 and have it pillarboxed so that it remains a 4:3 image when displayed on my 16:10 screen. I follow the normal steps to enable this of setting the desktop to a non-native resolution and then opening up CCC and selecting Built-in displays > Properties, but when I choose "maintain aspect ratio" under scaling options, and click Apply, the setting immediately reverts itself to fill the whole screen. I can select the "centered" option just fine, but it looks like crap as the image no longer fills the whole screen in either direction. I'm using the latest 11.12 drivers from ATI, but I also observed this behavior with the old drivers I was using as well (don't remember what version). Is this a bug, and is there any known fix you guys are aware of? A registry value that overrides CCC settings, perhaps?
