As of driver revisions 11.7, 11.8, and 11.9 RCx, it seems that many of us cannot overclock any more without hitting instant BSOD as soon as the overclocks are applied, even if ULPS is disabled.

11.6 has no problems overclocking with Trixx, Afterburner etc, but for some reason these last 3 drivers are completely broken for those of us with mobile GPU's.

Anybody else experiencing this or have a solution? Pretty frustrating, especially considering it forces you to choose between the better performance of the newer drivers for new games or the overclocking of 11.6.

I am running in 11.8 and overclocked. Actually, I haven't had a BSOD by overclocking

Interesting. Perhaps it's Llano related then? Those of us with Llano and dedicated GPU's (HP DV6z and Asus K53TA) can't get 11.8 etc to work with O/C without using modded vBIOS.

Could it be related to integrated GPU+dedicated gpu issue?

They gotta make either 11.9 or 11.10 better for Llano dual GPU users.
My HD 6970m OCes just fine.

Probably. Definitely Llano based. AMD probably won't fix it though...

HP is the only ones shipping Llano APU notebooks with dedicated gpus, right?

No. The Asus K53TA has one as well.
