Catalyst 14.1 are supposed to add Frame Pacing capability for Dual Graphics.

I tested it in my a10-4600m + 7670m setup, it seems to be working (option is enabled in CCC Profiles) , however, performance is about the same as before when using dual graphics mode, with visible stutter.

Can someone test it just to know if everyone's having same results?

-Tested With Batman Arkham City in DX11 mode (Frame Pacing not enabled for dx9, so you have to use that mode to test). Fraps measure 40-45 fps but if feels like <20 to me. Same as it was in 13.12 and before.
-Tested with 3dmark Vantage. With 13.2, this benchmark stutters HORRIBLY. Sensation is about 3-4 fps at most (although fraps measures about 15-20 fps), with horrible jumps and no pattern. With 14.1 b6 it works much better, now fraps measures 30fps sometimes, but it still feels a lot slower (although not as much as before).

    Give your feedback!

Maybe frame pacing is not working yet for laptop Dual Graphics, just desktop.

This driver is meant to be for the Kaveri APU (GCN) + GCN discrete graphics. Your setup (a10-4600m + 7670m) is not GCN at all, therefore you can forget frame pacing capability for Dual Graphics.

You both are wrong. This driver is intended for every amd card and frame pacing IS AVAILABLE IN CCC (it isn't in any other driver). You can see release notes here: AMD Catalyst 14.1 Beta Driver for Windows

    it's not exclusive of GCN:

Enhanced AMD CrossFire™ technology frame pacing – Support for 4K panel and AMD Eyefinity and AMD CrossFire™ solutions (including the AMD Radeon™ R9 280, 270 Series, HD 7900 Series, HD 7800 Series) and Dual Graphics configurations

and as i said, best test is that FRAME PACING OPTION IS AVAILABLE IN CCC

These are all GCN cores. AMD never had dual graphics driver with frame pacing for Llano, Trinity, Richland APUs and since the new Kaveri with GCN core came out, they going to forget those old architectures...

Again, how do i have to tell?

FRAME PACING IS AVAILABLE NOW ON CCC. In profiles, there's a new check for frame pacing. That check was enabled for crossfire configs since 13.8, but not available on ANY dual graphics config. Now it's enabled, and they have announced it that it is supported for every dual graphics config, not only gcn. What i am asking now is about performance, BUT THE OPTION IS THERE, even for my config, and it is non-gcn.

If you don't believe it, go test yourself.

If option is there, why is that automatically means to you it is working? I told you it is not and even in your first post there it is not working! Furthermore I recommend you this and this readings.

Great, i recommend you this one. A10-6790k ... Richland.
Catalyst 14.1 Brings Frame Pacing Fix To Dual Graphics Solutions? | Black Hole Tec

The information about Dual Graphics from Trinity having frame pacing enabled is also amongst all AMD's social networks announcements, so just research a bit.

Anyway, I don't need to prove anymore. I tested it. You didn't. You don't have any trustable information about the topic, so better think to do in that case ... not talking. You are just getting people to believe false assumptions.

PD: 14.1 went live on 2/2/14. Every test BEFORE that is done on 13.30, which is not 14.1 and doesn't have same options enabled (and 13.30 WAS done for a10-7850 and 7600, which is not the case for 14.1 beta).
