Sorry, I didn't know that ATI's page would give you an error if you linked to it. They called it a "leech" error.

    Link fixed.

Yes, someone please be our guinea pig, I wanna know if these 6.11's are anything like the 6.10's which made CS:S map de_dust2 unplayable for me beforehand...

I generally prefer to stick to the previous or two driver releases back - the newest is not always the best. I am using the Omega 6.9's right now along with ATI Tray Tool v1.2.6.955, and that combo has been solid as a rock.
The Catalyst Control Center doesn't need to be installed in the first place, so you can save yourself the risk of uninstalling it by not installing it. ;) As for the second part, I never had any problems using the ATI Software Uninstall utility to get rid of old drivers; if that does not work correctly there is always DriverCleaner Pro.

Chaz I used to have that issue! My Sharkoon sound driver and ATi tray tools would be removed! Now that is weird. I thought it was something with windows registry - poor ATI programming!

    Cheers,

    Ivan

6.11 is just bad, bad and bad. My 3dmark05 score dropped from 2640 to 2527, just image -113 points!

    Charlie :) (keeps smiling)
