    I tried them and I went back to 9.2. it was a confusing install because there is two inf's and I dnt know which is better than the other.

    9.3 didn't really help my 4870's performance at all but there aren't any problems with it so far so whatever...

    its been out for about a week now, and 9.4 will be out in a few weeks as well.

    AMD/ATI's drivers are a monthly thing, hence their naming, 9th year, 3rd month.

    I didn't notice any improvement on my desktop, but then again nothing I frequently play runs under 100fps anyway.. This one looks like another bugfixes update, not one of the performance updates. The only thing the update seemed to bring was a problem with CrossfireX and Saints row 2, now if I have crossfire on, the game will have black bars going down the screen, like what you'd see if you viewed an old TV through a camcorder.
