I actually am starting to believe that atleast AMD is in big mess right now. It makes no sense to see chinese people spewing out details about the Kepler and absolutely nothing about the mobile GCN from AMD.
And I don`t really know about people wanting Kepler either. Well those who want Ultrabooks with an OK GPU should get what they want probably around the time Ivy Bridge is released. But for those of us who is looking for GTX 570M/580M replacements, I fear we are in for a longer wait. I expect the 128 bit GTX 660M to surpass the 570M and up to almost the 580M, but it still not a real replacement. Atleast that is what I guess.
The 680M could arrive in April too, but honestly I think it will be in late summer like you say.

CeBit was like the Waterworld of conventions. This is the first one I actually paid attention to but was extremely let down. Is this how it usually is? I was expecting maybe some news from Nvidia, AMD, Intel, etc. but to have no real news was surprising.

The specs, pardon the double post, are still outdated, but it appears asus is eager to get this laptop out there now. Seems like more of a budget gaming laptop, but that's just me
[CEBIT 2012] ASUS N77SF-V2G-TZ158V Gaming Laptop Akihabara News maybe it will be kind of like an easy upgradeable laptop for when ivy bridge and the nVidia 6xxm series gets out. -

does clevo even have a booth this year? this is usually where they show their new stuff for the year.
-
Clevo did have a press release and a news page up on their site saying "come meet us at cebit 2012", but i dunno what happened.
Sigh.. most disappointing cebit ever..

afaik the new models of clevo/sager are ready but the ib bridge chips and new gpu's arent. they could be under ndr but even if they werent, i would not want to show my new laptop with old tech.
clevo for example, could 'show off' their new laptops with sb and the current crop of gpu. but that would have a negative marketing effect imho. they have to show their new models with new tech. i guess this logic, could be the main reason for lackluster releases in ces and cebit so far.
