I was wondering... I have a DV4000 with 1.5 Celeron and Intel(R)915 on board graphics, but 512 MB Ram.

What can I realistically expect? What are some of the games you guys think this machine could be capable of playing?

    Thanks in advance! :budget: :decision:

Virtually none. It's not the CPU that is the problem - the graphics card is your bottleneck. Sure, the Celeron isn't a fast processor and generally is to be avoided for games, but in this case, its the graphics card.

I'd say anything over Quake III arena and CS 1.6 and games will be unplayable. And even those games you'll have to stick on low/maybe medium.

To be fair, your system should play anything more than a couple years old. And if an old desktop Celeron with integrated graphics can play Unreal Tournament 2004, your laptop should be able to do the same.

My advice is that you download and play a demo before buying the full version of the game.

    Ok, thanks for responses.

:) Who said I will pay for the game at all? :) If I had the money, I would pay for a better lappy :)

    But we will see

How about the game "Return to Castel of Wolfenstein" ?

Would it work on my computer? On highest setting?

That's an older game - should run without issues, possibly on high settings. You'll be able to use medium for sure. :)
