I originally had 1366 x 768 and 1600 x 900 resolutions available in all games, and on the desktop. I believe specifially after I installed Doc's 180.70 (and shortly after 180.84), I lost those resolutions. Yesterday Nvidia released the official 179.28 drivers, but those didn't bring back the resolutions. And finally, installing factory drivers didn't either. I made sure to clean the drivers in safe mode after removing them. I have no idea...
FO3 runs terrible on stock driversI'm heading back to Nvidias now..

Those are 16:9 resolutions and you're on a 16:10 display... I don't know why they've disappeared, but why would you want to use them anyway?
-
It actually is a 16:9 display, native res is 1920 x 1080. Obvious I can't play the latestgames at 1080p, but some games like boishock, run quite well at 1600 x 900...
-
Of course... I'm an idiot.
I'll let someone who is not an idiot help you.
For some reason I read 1920x1200 not 1920x1080.
Sorry about that. -
According to the release notes, resolution support is pretty limited along with a whole bunch of other stuff.
Definitely sticking to the desktop drivers myself now. -
Fixed the problem! In Nvidia control panel under display category, there's an option to create custom resolutions. 1600 x 900 was then added to the windows resolution list, and to all my games.
-
179.28 came with 1366x768 as a default res (good thing too, as it's my screen's native).
-
179.28 wiped out all of the 16:9 resolutions in my games, with the exception of 1280x720.
Of course, I'm on a 16:10 display so I don't care, but I was just letting you know.
Certain resolutions disappeared...
