    Hi,
I have a question for all chess players on this forums. Do you practice with a PC Software ?? If yes, which one ??

Personally, I use Chessmaster 10 from Ubisoft.

    What about you ??

I use Chess Titans because it's included for free in Vista Home Premium. And I suck.

Fritz is, hands-down, the product to use. I haven't used Chess Titans, but many of the other programs - Chessmaster included - and nothing holds a candle to Fritz.

If you want to play for free online, check out FICS (free internet chess server)

You're quite welcome. I love the game dearly, but truthfully my play ranges from patzer to intermediate only.

When I was younger I could devote more time (e.g. head to Washington Square Park and get fleeced of my money by the hustlers), and now I just tend to play games on the computer or on FICS.

I really can't say how pleased I am with both Fritz and FICS. Fritz is infinitely customizeable, and the engine and interface are topnotch.

FICS is better than the vast majority of the pay servers, and a good graphical interface (I use a proram called BabasChess) really just seals the deal.

If you've any questions, I'd be happy to help as best I can!
