CINEBENCH has some warning about "system instability" after changing settings. I enabled hardware lighting (I think), and I run an Intel X3100.
After I changed these settings, I ran the tests again and the program locked up. It did this for the next few times, until I got the settings to change back.
My question: Can CINEBENCH cause hardware or software damage to my computer? Excuse my ignorance in the subject - I just don't want to take any chances.

The reason I ask is because I know messing with the wrong settings (or the right settings the wrong way) can cause hardware damage.
Like setting the refresh rate too high on a CRT monitor...
Cinebench?
