Been wanting to come back to this, but it just consumes so much time ha! Not a bad thing, just means the game is fantastic, but not a quick jump in and play a bit then bail game... mostly only have time to play thoughs lately, other than Prepar3d of course![]()

i forego the achievements and play the game with unlimited cash!

But yeah, I feel ya, C:S can get a bit addictive. I play it a little, then quit. I start thinking about how I can improve my city, make new bus routes/whatever in my head, then load up the game and spend some more time. And so it goes on like that.
In my case it's not about achievements (don't care about them), but to make it interesting. Tried playing with unlimited money few times, but dropped soon afterwards because I didn't get no real excitement about building a virtual city. -

And so it grows and grows...
Man, this game is really addictive... -

So, the unholy construction of Downtown has began, muhahahaha...
Will comect a few more roads and then start the settling process. -

Still, I might come back to this design, because I just like how it looks.

Curious, are the official DLC's worth buying? Starting play back up again, wondering if I should start with the new stuff or just the original. -

This is the version I played around a bit with, but ultimately found it to be rather boring, though more space to build stuff:
I really want to build a bus/train hub, but I don't see it fitting it either of those designs. Thought about building it elsewhere, but everything is pretty much cramped as it is. Maybe it is time for me to activate 25 tile mod...
I may move it a bit and leave it near airport. Make a highway from Downtown and maybe Kenny Loggins Int (if I will manage to find a place for some roads).
Apart from that, haven't played it much lately, been busy with ROTTR and now The Division...be77solo likes this. -

Traffic in this game is killing me...
-
I feel that traffic is basically the highlight of the game.
AI agents still need to be smarter at driving though.killkenny1 likes this. -

Tried Traffic++ V2, didn't like it. Traffic actually got worse, and I started having stutters (prolly big CPU load). -
Traffic can be a hassle but I enjoy the problem solving element of it. I'm on my forth major city and am still discovering little tricks to make traffic flow well.

Still not very good, but I'll take it!
Looks like that one roundabout there is useless. I may delete it or make it smaller.
And my Central Train Station project is underway.

So, I think I'll drop an update on my city.
Since I'm more or less finished with it (except for some small changes here and there, and Downtown zoning), I finally decided to start developing public transport. Metro is first:
Yeah, I have no idea what I'm doing. So far I have only 5 circle lines and a couple of additional lines. But that was enough to raise city demand for commercial and industry, and my income almost tripled. At least now I know that my two mil investment into this project will pay off. Hopefully traffic will be better as well.
And something for giggles:
Seriously I don't even know if they should have bothered putting out this fire... -
I bought Cities Skylines and I agree that it makes the last 2 versions of Sim City look like a joke, but I don't play it as much as I thought I would because I can't get use to the crazy mouse controls for rotating and zooming in and out.... Sim City had that better....

Also, what mouse do you use? -
Right now I use a Logitech M325 with my laptop, I also have a full size Logitech MX darkfield mouse, I don't think its the mouse, It has to be my settings in the game maybe. I really wish it was easier to move around.
I am use to the scroll button for zooming an

Cities Skylines is now $7.49 on Steam. Great bargain for anyone looking for a good city building sim. I'm sure killkenny1 can tell you all about it.
