So its due release for 1st septembrt 2010 and i must say im looking forward to it. However, i only really play the civ games on my laptop and can play them all high, no problem. However what worries me is that the developers are going to jump the gun and riase the requirments so bad.

    What do you reckon.

    Intel Core 2 duo 2.8ghz
    ATI 4650 Mobility 1GB card
    4GIG Ram

you think that would be enough to experience civ 5 in its all glory?

or do you reckon its gonna take better hardware to actually use it at its full glory, given the reputation of other civ games.

What's your resolution? Your card should run it at pretty decent settings, if not "maximum everything!!!!"... Civ ain't gonna be a hugely resource intensive game, probably more on the CPU than the GPU.
