Anyone got Civilization 6 working with 780M on DX12? Dxdiag shows that I have DX12, but I'm not sure if the 780M itself works with the game architecture-wise. I can run it with DX11 just fine, but it crashes after the 2K (or even before it) logo when run on DX12.

GTX 780M does support DX12. Make sure the drivers are up to date and that the game does not crash due to the 780M lack of DX12.1 capability (hardware conservative rasterization and rasterized order view).

It seems to be a game problem. I just launched the DX12 version on my other laptop with the 388.71 driver, and it crashed after the Firaxis logo. My M18x R1 uses the 388.59 driver.

EDIT: Upon testing a different game (Assassin's Creed: Origins), I encountered the same problem. I saw someone mention RivaTuner, and I tried to turn it off. Both games worked as intended after that in both of my laptops.

In lieu of what happened, is there no workaround to have such monitor run while playing these games?
