Hey guys. My laptop is about a year old now (AW M7700) and the fans are decreasing in performance and my question is how do i clean out the heatsink and the fans? I'm guessing just unscrew the things? i dont know... lol help me!

First few pages are about overheating; he goes on to talk about how to disassemble a laptop to clean the heatsink, including what materials to use and stuff like that.
I've also heard people using short bursts of compressed air to blow dust off their heatsink. I'm not sure how effective this is, though (or how much damage it'll do to your computer). -

i use the air in a can thing to clean out my desktop... havnt used anythign to clean my laptop yet because its new... the air in the can never hurt my computer and i even did it while it was running and it still runs great i would try this before you take your laptop apart.
