You mean S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky? Both games are pretty good. Only got about half-way through the first one: Shadows of Chernobyl, and keep planning on playing Clear Sky.

Really? I thought Clear Sky wasn't all that great when compared to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. It had a number of plain ridiculous elements (the blow out thing for example, or the way factions are stationed at the entrenches and exits to different zones), and all the good stuff can be easily carried over into the original with some mods, like Oblivion Lost. Still, it's not a bad game per se, just meh-ish compared to Shadows of Chernobyl.

Played both the original and Clear Sky and I think they're pretty fun and kept me interested for a long time, although I didn't finish Clear Sky coz eventually I got bored of it and decided to play other games instead. :p

How is the STALKER series? One of my friends got SoC when it first came out and didn't like it at all, I started playing FO3 recently and am loving it, would I enjoy STALKER? I imagine them being more or less the same with FO3 being on a larger scale I guess and there being less people in STALKER

Actually STALKER is probably on the same scale as Fallout 3. Lots of places to go, lots of different people. It's kind of an RPG/FPS. You can't create your character, etc, you basically get the guy you're given. But everything else is very similar to an RPG.

Ahh thanks, and I read more about it, it seems STALKER is more of a FPS first then a RPG second and FO3 is the other way around, think I'll finish up FO3 first then give STALKER a try
