I have my clevo p150EM with a HD7970m graphic card. I recently bought a Benq xl2411z (144hz) and after a long and painfull week of trying to make it work i realized that the DVI port that comes with the p150em is only a single dvi, and for 60hz+ you need Dual link DVI.

That benq monitor didn't have DisplayPort connection and HDMI doesn't support higher refresh rate that 60hz. ( only if you use hdmi 1.4b which the monitor and hdmi on the pc need to compatible with it and its a very specific cable and hard to find a poper one.. you buy one and them you realize its a 1.4a and you need a 1.4b)

so i had to send the monitor back to shop, and i would like someone to help me. someone that knows about this or is running a 120hz+ monitor on a p150em.

i just dont want to order a screen with DP and then realize the connector or switchable graphic cards will not take the refresh rate.
