Hey,
Sorry if I'm breaking any forums rules, but I'm going crazy!
I have recently bought a second hand Clevo P370SM Sager Alienware Haswell with dual GTX680M SLI
I have been using it for a month with no issues at all with the latest 335 Nvidia drivers, playing Wildstar in full spec, no issues.
During my playing of Wildstar I noticed that 335 didn't have a SLI profile, and that Nvidia released 337 with SLI profile, so I went to instal this and got the error "No hardware suitable" or something, basically I couldn't instal them.
I then un-instaled the 335 and tried again, same error
Tried to instal the 335 again, same error
Formatted the entire computer and entered my drivers CD, when going to VGA drivers, again getting an error similar stating that it can't detect the hardware
Checking Device manager I can see two VGA adaptors, and one of them "Couldn't stop properly" with the yellow explanation mark.
The other one started up properly
I have had a computer store look at it for 8 days, couldn't fix it, have looked up multiple threads, videos, what to check, nothing
have gotten 2 friends to spend a good hour or more on it, nothing
Can anyone suggest anything?

Hello
It reminds me the problem that a P370EM I was about to buy had. This one had a 7970M crossfire. When the owner installed the first release of the 14.4 drivers, he lost one 7970M. I went back to older AMD drivers, but the problem was still there, one 7970M was in yellow in the device manager.. unrecognised.. He sent the laptop to Clevo and they firstly told him that the 14.4 driver was faulty in its first relase... which is why it was discontinued by AMD during a few days.. However the problem was apparently that the motherboard was dead..
But this is really weird.. -
Well, first thing. There's no such thing as a Clevo P370SM Alienware haswell. I would say you had a Clevo P370SM, but they do not sell those with GTX 680Ms. I would also say you had a P370EM, but they don't sell those with Haswell CPUs. Can you check and tell us exactly what your setup is? That's the first thing we need to know before we start telling you where to look. The Clevo P370EM should have SLI 680Ms, but it should be using Ivy Bridge CPUs (i7-3xx0QM) where the x is a variable number (I.E. i7-3740QM or i7-3610QM etc). Next, please confirm that you have two GTX 680Ms. I would also like screenshots of GPU-Z checking each card. Even if drivers are not installed, it will show the information listed on the card correctly (assuming your cards are working). If one card shows different information than the other (and the "different" I am thinking of here is a *lack* of information; such as it not reporting its clock speeds or texture fillrate etc) then likely one of your cards are bad.
That being said, we'll deal with that when we come across what the problem is. First, I need to know your laptop model (CPU-Z can tell us the motherboard and what CPU you have) and the GPU information from GPU-Z. The fact that you reinstalled windows likely means it isn't a software problem, which is the worrying part.
