Hey there folks.
I am going to be ordering a new laptop (not for me). And I'm going Clevo 100% because IMO those are the best laptops. I'm not interested in the m290x (rebadge of a rebadge? lol) So I was just wondering if anyone has heard of any resellers who are putting m295x's in their models? I live in Canada so likely will be ordering from Eurocom - they have been very helpful. But they don't have any m295x models (yet?).
Alternatively, can you buy the m295x aftermarket somewhere? If so and if someone could provide a link that would be wonderful!
If not, I guess I'll just have to "go green" after 15 years :/ lol

Practically the only place to buy an R9 m295x. The R9 m295x has been succeeded by the R9 m390x (a rebrand but no MXM to be seen) and R9 m395x (umm.... a rebrand of sorts, but it hasn't released yet).
As it stands, the only laptop to sell with the R9 m295x / m390x is the Alienware 15. And of course, that's not what you're looking for.MahmoudDewy, Marecki_clf and triturbo like this. -
Thanks for the info.
Screw it, the 970m looks like it performs better anyways. Dark side, here I come! -

Yea. It saddens me cause I like AMD and I'm a natural underdog supporter but it seems they just can't pull their socks up these days. That said I do love my desktop 290.triturbo likes this. -

I actually just found out something amazing.
I didn't really look at what card I had as I had ordered a model with a 970m. But it turns out I received a 980m.

If they ask, tell them GPUz and nvidia experience say it's a 970M.
