My friend keeps getting, "Error writing application data, your hard drive is probably full" whenever he starts Call of Duty 4. He has way over the specified 6.5GB needed for the game.

He keeps asking me about it, thanks.

Has he partitioned his HD by any chance? How much does he have free on each partition?

Make sure the game is installed and played on an administrator account.

I had the same problem, COD4 wouldn't run on limited user accounts.
