    Hey fellas, first post :D
I'm just a noob who doesn't really know much about laptops and stuff, so correct me if i'm wrong
So, i just found this video here... ‪Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare on x3100‬‏ - YouTube
i DID NOT believe that he said "3-60 FPS without fraps". cause alot of people said x3100 can barely keep the fps above 15 on CoD 4.
i already updated the driver to 15.12. i'm gonna get the game if i get a confirmation that this game can run smoothly on the x3100.

    I'm using a Compaq Presario c700 with:
    -Windows 7 ultimate 32-bit
    -Core duo @1.8 ghz
    -1gb of ram
    -Mobile intel 965 express chipset

Is there any tweak to make the game run smoother? i heard people messing up with their registry to make it run better. And one more thing, i only have 251 mb video ram. i saw my friend have around 350. why is this? is there a way to increase it?

I've used that laptop before, and it can barely run UT2k4 unfortunately. Your best bet is to downgrade to XP so you have a little less resource-overhead...or upgrade the ram.

Either way, it's not going to be fun. Don't buy the game until you play the FREE DEMO. Always test before you buy.

More ram "should" improve the framerates.
1gb ram for Win 7 and the IGP may bottleneck you.

Hah, the clunker I'm using right now has an X3100. Is it really possible to play MW? I've also got 3GB RAM, an Intel C2D @ 2.0 GHz, and Windows Vista. Last I checked, this old thing couldn't even run TF2 without stuttering.

I haven't bothered to update my drivers since every time I try, I'm faced with the error message: "The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer's manufacturer. Setup will exit." :(
