Is it possible to create a shortcut to CoD 5 on my PC? When i installed it I had no option to add it to the start menu and i cannot launch it from my desktop due to missing file errors. Is this the same for everyone or am I missing something?

I just bought the game and all I did was go to the games folder and copy the shortcut to desktop and then put it in my desktop games folder and it launches when I click it.

hmmm, that's weird then. I reinstalled the game twice and I still can't launch from the shortcut

This is why I'm hesitant buying pc games now. It's running in to these problems and compatibility issues. I was worried that the no cd crack wouldn't work but it does, don't know if it'll still work after I patch it, but my problem now is when I try and join a multiplayer game all the servers are empty, and it tells me to patch so. crossing my fingers the patch works with the no cd crack and I get to play multiplayer. Oh sorry don't know what to tell you on the shortcut icon though.

all you should have to do is right click the .exe in the installation folder, go to "send to", and then desktop.
try checking the short cuts "target" location in properties. -
Ah, thanks that worked
