CoD Annihilation

I just saw this on the steam front page. I was like "seriously another paid DLC..."

Then when I saw it was about zombies... I just wanted to die inside.

Why must everybody copy the zombie theme? Taking a game and adding zombies to it does not make it better.

Making people pay for it also does not make it better.

I never liked CoD multiplayer that much personally but now I am pretty much repulsed just from the idea I even played it.

 

I thought BO already had zombies seeing how it was first added by the same studio in WaW. Being CoD, I'm not surprised if they left zombies out this time so they can release it in a DLC money grab.

 

We need moar zombies.
Add them in The Sims, Need for Speed, Ba(ttlefiel)d company 3 and when Kotick ressurect guitar hero for some more cash grabs, add Zombies there too.

And this shoulb be content already included in the game, but you need to buy DLC unlocks for it to work. ;3

 

@Vicious: I don't know whether you ever played BO, but there was a zombie mode from the very beginning, 3 maps only for the zombie mode, for online co-op or single player, and it's very well done imo. The characters are fun to play with, some cool quotes, pretty well-designed maps and simply great to play.

I spent much more time with the zombie mode than with the regular BO. To be hones I didn't like Black Ops, MW2 was much better, but the zombie mode is really entertaining and worth playing a couple of hours.

Treyarch is famous for their zombie modes, so I wouldn't say it's copying, compared to other zombie games or zombie mods it's really a unique mode, well designed and very successful.
I think you can't compare the BO zombie mode to any other zombie game.

 

You mean only the CoD5:WaW, right? Or is there something else (not obviously BO).

 

Oh I dont have BO no reason for me to spend my money on it (felt it was too pricey for what you get) so didn't know it was already including zombies, but its still the same thing....

Before you know it everything will be zombies, like my kids cartoons. Instead of Dora the Explorer it will be Dora the the mutant zombie abomination that goes exploring for peoples brains.

 

TV and film are strictly vampires and werewolves. Vidya games have the rights to Zombies.

 

EMO vampires and EMO werewolves. OMG, we need a new Blade film to show them how to make a good vampire film!. All that "I'm a vampire and I wanna marry you... have children with you... a house with a white fence... please stay with me and not werewolf (tears roll)" makes me sick. Where's Blade when we need him!!!

Now to the point. I believe CoD games are WAY overpriced. 2 years later they still costs like they are brand new!. And their SP campaign is TOO SHORT they really shouldn't bother. Just focus in MP and make better maps and modes. And the game engine is really OLD. I bet MW3 is using the same MW, MW2, BO engine, with a different color. I'm not saying CoD series is bad (BO is), I loved CoD2 and MW1 & 2... they are just too overEVERYTHING (overhyped, overpriced...)
